Augusta

Augusta boasts wineries, antique shops, restaurants, B&B’s, a wood shop, a glass studio, massage therapy, and The Augusta Brewery.

Most notably, the City of Augusta is home to two wineries, Augusta Winery and Mount Pleasant Winery. The Augusta AVA was recognized by the federal government in 1980 as the first designated American Viticultural Area in the United States, beating out Napa Valley.

During the spring, summer, and fall, people from St. Charles County and outside of the county come to spend mass amounts of time. The rural community offers many wineries. These wineries have become local hotspots for residents and non-residents to visit in order to socialize, try no wine flavors, entertain friends and family, and even make those special memories such as engagements and weddings. The atmosphere and backdrop of the countryside provide an intoxicating mixture which lends itself to great times and memories.

We invite you to come visit, taste our local flavors, and let this loving community make you one of its own. You just might fall in love and be our next budding vineyard!!!
